2024-25 Role: Graduate Faculty Fellow

Lauren Ginsberg will work closely with the Graduate School as well as divisional deans and senior academic staff of other units across the university to build initiatives that aim to enhance the experience of graduate students in terms of equity, inclusion, access, and belonging in pathway programs, mentoring, and graduate student recruitment. Particular areas of focus will be (1) initiatives relating to equity and inclusion in graduate admissions and recruitment as well as (2) expectations, training, and evaluation of graduate faculty mentors. Related responsibilities include sitting on the Executive Committee of the Graduate Faculty (ECGF) in an ex officio role and liaising with members of the Graduate School on various issues, particularly where a faculty and/or humanist perspective would be valuable. As part of the year, she will also attend at least one strategic conference related to graduate education and higher ed.
